Bath Spa University - Year 1 Brief: Hero/Anti-hero
Characters designed using a limited range of icons. Created by cutting stencils and printed by hand with acrylic paint. I chose a red and black colour palette as this was inspired by propaganda posters and created a bold composition whilst also enabling the pieces to work as a pair.

Characters created using found faces. The introvert (left) is based on a light switch and the extrovert (right) was based on a toothbrush holder. The contrast in scale and method of mark-making emphasises the character's personalities.
